Finding a good car in today’s market can be difficult. Prices move quickly, descriptions aren’t always accurate, and the best cars tend to sell fast. Our sourcing service takes that stress away. We use the same careful approach we rely on when buying our own stock, and while we specialise in automatics, we’re happy to source manuals too.
How Our Sourcing Works
Tell us what you’re looking for
You give us the basics: budget, type of car, mileage/age range, and any must‑haves or deal‑breakers. This gives us a clear picture of what makes sense for you.Commitment fee
Before we start searching, we take a commitment fee. This covers the time involved in searching, checking, and shortlisting cars, and it confirms you’re ready to move forward. The fee is deducted from the final cost. It’s refundable only if we can’t find a suitable car. It’s not refundable if you change your mind, disappear, or change the criteria halfway through. This protects our time and keeps the process fair.We search properly
We look through trusted trade channels and focus only on cars that are worth considering — good history, sensible mileage, honest condition, and proper value. We don’t send endless links or anything we wouldn’t be comfortable buying ourselves.We check the car
Any car we put forward has been properly looked over by us. We make sure it’s been cared for, that the paperwork makes sense, and that it represents good value in the current market. You get clear, honest feedback with no pressure.Reservation fee
Once you choose a car and want us to secure it, we take a reservation fee. This protects us from buying a car on your behalf and then being left with it. It’s deducted from the final cost. It’s non‑refundable if you change your mind after we’ve secured the car.We handle everything from there

Sourcing takes time, fuel, and real commitment on our side. Clear steps and clear payments protect both of us and keep the process smooth. It avoids misunderstandings, stops last‑minute changes, and ensures we’re only working with people who are genuinely ready to buy.
Example Based on a £10,000 Car This example is purely to show how the percentages work on a £10,000 sourced car. Percentages car change based on car value.
Commitment fee – 5% Paid before we start searching. 5% of £10,000 = £500 Deducted from the final cost. Refundable only if we can’t find a suitable car. Not refundable if you change your mind.
Reservation fee – 15% Paid once you choose a car and want us to secure it. 15% of £10,000 = £1,500 Deducted from the final cost. Non‑refundable if you change your mind after we’ve secured the car.
Final balance – 80% Paid when the car is ready for collection. Total price: £10,000 Minus commitment fee: £500 Minus reservation fee: £1,500 Remaining balance: £8,000
